Pet Boarding Services in Wilmington

Our boarding facility at Walnut Grove Animal Clinic offers luxury, climate-controlled accommodations that ensure your pet enjoys their stay and receives lots of pampering. While your pet is staying with us, they can participate in our doggie daycare program and enjoy other special services such as personal TLC time, yummy treats, or a massaging bath.

For our feline friends, we offer kitty condos in our cattery, which is quiet and separate from the canine boarding area. Our cat condos have a private, snuggly bedroom chamber and can be expanded to provide many rooms to explore. For those wishing to make their kitty’s stay extra special, our cattery also provides kitty play areas equipped with toys, a bench to look over the lobby, and more to enthrall the curiously minded. Other services can be added, such as personal TLC time.

We are also happy to have our feathered friends, and other exotically special guests come to stay with us. Their separate area equipped with rainforest murals makes them feel right at home.

Tours of the boarding facility are offered Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday between 10:30 AM and 1:30 PM. We unfortunately can not bring clients into the daycare yard as this would be disruptive to the pack, but we can show the yard on cameras and through windows.

Boarding Rates

  • No additional charge for giving medications.
  • 10% discount on boarding for additional pets in the same family.

Small Canine Suites (Dogs Less Than 30lbs)

  • $40 per night
  • Includes a pet bed, food, doggy daycare Monday through Saturday, and daily walks on Sundays. If your pet does not participate in daycare, then they will get four daily outside breaks in our individual yard.

Large Canine Suites

  • $45 per night
  • Includes a pet bed, food, doggy daycare Monday through Saturday, and daily walks on Sundays. If your pet does not participate in daycare, then they will get four daily outside breaks in our individual yard.

Luxury Canine Suites

  • $55 per night
  • This extra-large suite includes a Kuranda pet bed, food, daily walks, and daycare. If your pet does not participate in daycare, then they will get four daily outside breaks in our individual yard.
****A daycare application must be filled out, and orientation day passed before dogs can participate in daycare****

Feline Suites

  • $22 per night
  • Includes staying in a cat condo with a separate bedroom area to give our feline guests privacy. Food and pet bed provided.This extra-large suite includes a Kuranda pet bed, food, daily walks, and daycare. If your pet does not participate in daycare, then they will get four daily outside breaks in our individual yard.

Additional Boarding Services

Exotic / Avian Boarding

  • $20.00- $28.00 per night dependent on care needs
  • For exotic and avian guests, please bring your pet's habitat, bedding, and food so that your special friend will be comfortable and cared for to the best of our abilities!

Day Boarding

Multi pet discount does not apply to dayboarding
  • Dogs: $30.00 per day
  • Cats: $20 per day
We offer dayboarding on a limited basis for cats and dogs that are not appropriate for daycare but need to spend the day away from home. Dayboarding services must be arranged in advance. The dayboarding rate does NOT include food. We will be happy to feed your pet while he or she is here but we ask that you provide any meals or snacks.

Dogs

  • Individual Play or one one-on-one time - $13 for 20 minutes
  • Peanut butter stuffed Kong/ frozen treat - $5.00
  • Bathing - $25 and up depending upon weight and hair coat

Cats

  • Playtime in the cat playroom for 30 minutes - $7
  • 10 minutes of individual time - $7

Hours

  • Check in by 4pm
  • Check out anytime during normal business hours
  • Do not have Sunday drop off and pick up
